We are still celebrating – or celebrating once again, depending on how you look at it. While some people are still struggling to deal with the aftermath of the holidays, we are starting the new year with full vigour. Well, at the tender age of 15, we were much fitter and handled a full stomach as well as long nights significantly better – and we did not drink alcohol at that time either ? But back to the topic. We are celebrating the 15th birthday of the Handelskraft blog, so let us take a look at what moved us and you last year. Handelskraft Is an Online Professional While we were all rather restricted while working from home and sorely missed our favourite colleagues, the ninth edition of the Handelskraft Trend Book put a smile on our faces and lived up to the call for »digital freedom«. Last year, we also organised two digital conferences – as remote business experts, lockdowns and the pandemic could not stop us and it did not take long for us to publish the »Remote Business« white paper. It therefore came as no surprise that the sixth Handelskraft Conference was a thorough success as well. Of course, this was also due to the fact that Oli, who hosted the event, was supported by Franzi. Not only did she bring a breath of fresh air to the conference, but she even managed to leave Oli speechless a few times. Kudos! Speaking of support: besides our blog team, the dotSource family grew as well. After welcoming our 300th employee in 2020, the 400th employee joined us last year. Not only the number of colleagues, but also the number of publications increased: 19 success stories, including hessnatur, myAGRAR, TROX and BayWa Südpellets An overview of all success stories can be found here. Three »Best Practices« publications – a completely new format There have never been so many publications in one year! A round of applause goes out to our publications team. Handelskraft – Always & Everywhere As multi-channel fans, we of course also provided our community with exciting content, success stories and company insights on various social media channels. On Instagram, we surpassed the 1,500 follower mark; on LinkedIn, we also put the pedal to the metal and are rapidly approaching 2,000 followers. Handelskraft Topics 2021 So what were the topics that caught our attention and that of our 6,983 subscribersin 2021? In spring, we showed you how to successfully manage customer data, achieve a 360-degree view of the customer and connect software to the cloud. As a result of the second year of the pandemic, hybrid commerce, new business models and New Work trends became incredibly important for companies. Conversion rate optimisation measures, a positive user experience and design trends were on the agenda as well. However, new ideas require innovative minds to drive forward digital transformation in business. After all, »Digital business is people business«. Handelskraft Celebrates Successes Of course, we do not just celebrate at the beginning but also during the year. At the German Stevie® Awards 2021, dotSource was named »Company of the Year« for the second time and received the »Best E-Book« award for its Handelskraft Trend Book 2020 »Digital Intellect«. It was not only us, but also our clients who had reason to celebrate. ESPRIT was named the fastest online shop in the fashion industry, hessnatur achieved record sales, TEAG won the Energiewende Award (energy transition award) and BayWa is the omnichannel champion 2021. 380 articles were published on Handelskraft.de and Handelskraft.com in 2021. Handelskraft Trend Book We are currently working flat out on the translation of the Handelskraft Trendbuch 2022 »Digitale Champions«, which is scheduled to be released in March.
